Tamil Nadu, August 19, 2019 : Shri MR Vijayabasker, Hon’ble Minister of Transport, Tamil Nadu launched NIC developed echallan at Tiruchirapallai on August 19, 2019 in the presence of Shri Vellamandi N Natarajan, Hon’ble Minister of Tourism, Smt S Valarmathi, Hon’ble Minister of Backward Classes and Minorities Welfare, Shri C Samayamoorthy, IAS Commissioner of Transport, Tamil Nadu, Shri S Sivarasu, District Collector, Tiruchirapalli, and Shri Ziaul Haque, District Superindent of Police, Tiruchirapalli. Hon’ble Minister of Transport handed over the eChallan Devices to Motor Vehicle Inspectors of the Transport Department and also felicitated Shri VR Kathirselvam, Senior Technical Director NIC, Chennai during the function. Hon’ble Minister of Transport emphasized the importance of the eChallan and its usage in identifying Traffic rule violators.
